24/7 emergency response for Hampton Roads municipalities — bypass pumping, failed mains and infrastructure failures, with pipe, pumps and fittings already staged at our Suffolk facility.
Bridgeman Civil provides 24/7 emergency response for many of the local municipalities. We maintain bypass piping in all sizes from 3" to 36", keeping up to 4,000 linear feet of each size at our facility.
The ability to react quickly can prevent millions of gallons of contaminants from reaching the environment. BCI maintains its own pumps, piping, valves, and replacement fittings to fix most all sizes and types of pipe on hand for quick response.
One number, answered around the clock and routed straight to a superintendent who can make decisions. No call trees and no waiting for business hours — the person you reach is the person who dispatches crews and equipment.
Bypass pipe from 3" to 36", with up to 4,000 linear feet of each size, is already on our Suffolk yard alongside pumps, valves and fittings. Crews load and leave immediately instead of waiting on rentals or suppliers.
The first priority is stopping the release. Crews establish bypass pumping, contain overflows and secure the site to protect the environment, nearby residents and traffic while the failed infrastructure is isolated and assessed.
Temporary measures are replaced with a permanent, engineered fix. Bridgeman completes the repair, restores pavement, landscaping and surfaces, and documents the work for the owner so the incident is fully closed out.
