Treatment plant, pump station and conveyance construction for municipal and authority owners across Hampton Roads — new builds, retrofits and process upgrades delivered without taking facilities offline.
Another concentration of ours is water and wastewater construction. We perform new construction in this area as well as retrofit work.
Our highly specialized team coordinates with the client what the project needs are and if the work is in an area of high traffic volume or within proximity to the public — planning every phase so service is never interrupted.
We sit down with the owner and design team to define sequencing, shutdown windows and exactly what the plant can tolerate. Those constraints become the schedule, so construction never forces operations staff into a decision they didn't plan for.
Work is staged so treatment capacity and customer service are maintained throughout. Temporary piping, bypasses and tie-ins are planned in advance, and each phase is confirmed with operators before cutover so the facility keeps running.
In high-traffic corridors or near the public, we plan access, maintenance of traffic and resident notification before the first cut. Neighbors, businesses and emergency services know what is happening and how to get around it.
Functional testing, operator training and complete documentation come before we leave. The owner receives a working system, trained staff and a clean handoff — not a punch list that lingers for months after substantial completion.
